Installation

Turn Off Power: Ensure the power supply to the installation area is switched off at the circuit breaker.
Remove the Lamp Cover:
- Turn the lamp cover counterclockwise to detach it from the lamp body.
Prepare the Mounting Area:
- Mark the positions for the screws on the ceiling. Use the lamp body as a template for accurate placement.
- Drill holes at the marked points and insert wall plugs, if required.
Attach the Lamp Body:
- Secure the lamp body to the ceiling using screws. Ensure it is firmly fixed to support the lamp’s weight.
Connect the Wiring:
- Connect the lamp’s wiring to the household wiring following standard electrical practices: Live (L), Neutral (N), and Earth (if applicable).
- Double-check all connections to ensure they are secure and insulated.
Reinstall the Lamp Cover:
- Align the lamp cover with the lamp body and turn it clockwise to secure it back in place.
Turn On Power: Switch the circuit breaker back on and ensure the lamp powers up.

Setup

Step 1: Download the YETPlus Smart App

Search for the “YETPlus Smart App” in your app store or scan the QR code below to download it directly:

Step 2: Enable Bluetooth

Ensure Bluetooth is turned on on your mobile device.

Step 3: Pair the Ceiling Lamp

For New Lamps: When powered on for the first time, the lamp will flash three times, indicating they are in pairing mode.
Manually Initiate Pairing Mode:
- Turn the lamp on.
- Turn them off and then on again five times, ensuring the lamp is fully turned off before turning it back on each time.
- After completing this action, the lamp will flash three times to confirm it is in pairing mode.

Step 4: Connect to the App

Open the YETPlus Smart App, select “Add Device,” and follow the on-screen instructions to pair the ceiling lamp via Bluetooth Mesh.

Step 5: Control Without Gateway

Without the YETPlus Smart Gateway, you can control the ceiling lamp directly via the YETPlus Smart App on your mobile device.
Create groups in the app to manage multiple devices simultaneously.

Step 6: YETPlus Smart Gateway for Advanced Features

To access advanced features such as cloud-controlled scenes, scheduling, Google integration, and Siri Shortcuts, you must set up a YETPlus Smart Gateway.
Follow the Smart Gateway’s user manual to complete the setup and link it with the YETPlus Smart App.

Step 7: Associate the Ceiling Lamp with the Gateway

Open the YETPlus Smart App and navigate to the Smart Gateway section.
Select Associate Bluetooth Device and follow the prompts to connect the lamp to the gateway.

Step 8: Integrate with Google and Siri Shortcuts

Google Integration:
- Download and fully set up the Google Home app on your mobile device.
- Use the YETPlus Smart App to link to Google Home:
  - Go to Profile > Google Assistant
- Or, use Google Home to link to YETPlus Smart App:
  - Open Google Home app
  - Go to Devices tab > + Add > Works with Google Home
  - Search for YETPlus Smart in the list of smart home apps and follow the instructions on screen to connect Google Home to you YETPlus Smart account.
- Ensure Google Assistant is properly configured to enable voice control.

Siri Shortcuts:
- Create a scene for the lamp / device in YETPlus Smart App.
- An “add to Siri” icon will appear on the scene page. Click on it to select the scenes to be added to Siri Shortcuts.
- Input custom phrases as shortcuts for the Siri voice command.
- The commands will be added to Siri Shortcuts upon saving.

Usage

Brightness Adjustment: Use the YETPlus Smart App to dim or brighten the light.
Color Temperature Adjustment: Select warm or cool tones using the app.
Group Control: Manage multiple lamps together via the app’s group control feature.
Cloud-Controlled Features (with Gateway):
- Set scenes and schedules for automation.
- Control the lamps remotely via the app.
Voice Control:
- Use Google Assistant or Siri Shortcuts for hands-free operation.

Troubleshooting

Lamp Not Responding:
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device.
- Make sure the lamp is within Bluetooth range.
- Confirm that your mobile device is connected to the internet during troubleshooting.
- Check that the YETPlus Smart App is updated to the latest version.
Reset the Lamp: Turn the ceiling lamp off and then on again five times, ensuring the lamp is fully turned off before turning it back on each time. After completing this action, the ceiling lamp will flash three times to confirm it is in pairing mode. You can now start to search and add the ceiling lamp in the app.
Connection Issues:
- Verify that your mobile device is connected to the internet during setup or troubleshooting.
- If using the YETPlus Smart Gateway, ensure it is properly set up and linked to the app.

Safety Instructions

Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician to ensure safety and compliance with standard.
Avoid exposure to water or moisture.
Disconnect the power supply before installation or maintenance.
