Installation
- Turn Off Power: Ensure the power supply to the light fixture is switched off.
- Insert Bulb: Fit the GU10 bulb securely into the socket.
- Turn On Power: Switch the power supply back on.
Setup
Step 1: Download the YETPlus Smart App
- Search for the “YETPlus Smart App” in your app store or scan the QR code below to download it directly:

Step 2: Enable Bluetooth
- Ensure Bluetooth is turned on on your mobile device.
Step 3: Pair the Bulb
- For New Bulbs: When powered on for the first time, the bulb will flash three times, indicating it is in pairing mode.
- Manually Initiate Pairing Mode:
- Turn the bulb on.
- Turn the bulb off and then on again five times, ensuring the bulb is fully turned off before turning it back on each time
- After completing this action, the bulb will flash three times to confirm it is in pairing mode.
Step 4: Connect to the App
- Open the YETPlus Smart App, select “Add Device,” and follow the on-screen instructions to pair the bulb via Bluetooth Mesh.
Step 5: Control Without Gateway
- Without the YETPlus Smart Gateway, you can control the bulb directly via the YETPlus Smart App on your mobile device.
- Create groups in the app to manage multiple bulbs simultaneously.
Step 6: YETPlus Smart Gateway for Advanced Features
- To access advanced features such as cloud-controlled scenes, scheduling, Google integration, and Siri Shortcuts, you must set up a YETPlus Smart Gateway.
- Follow the Smart Gateway’s user manual to complete the setup and link it with the YETPlus Smart App.
Step 7: Associate the Bulb with the Gateway
- Open the YETPlus Smart App and navigate to the Smart Gateway section.
- Select Associate Bluetooth Device and follow the prompts to connect the bulb to the gateway.
Step 8: Integrate with Google and Siri Shortcuts
- Google Integration:
- Download and fully set up the Google Home app on your mobile device.
- Use the YETPlus Smart App to link to Google Home:
- Go to Profile > Google Assistant
- Or, use Google Home to link to YETPlus Smart App:
- Open Google Home app
- Go to Devices tab > + Add >Works with Google Home
- Search for YETPlus Smart in the list of smart home apps and follow the instructions on screen to connect Google Home to you YETPlus Smart account.
- Ensure Google Assistant is properly configured to enable voice control.
- Siri Shortcuts:
- Create a scene for the bulb/device in YETPlus Smart App.
- An “add to Siri” icon will appear on the scene page. Click on it to select the scenes to be added to Siri Shortcuts.
- Input custom phrases as shortcuts for the Siri voice command.
- The commands will be added to Siri Shortcuts upon saving.
Usage
- Brightness Adjustment: Use the YETPlus Smart App to dim or brighten the light.
- Color Temperature Adjustment: Select warm or cool tones using the app.
- Group Control: Manage multiple bulbs together via the app’s group control feature.
- Cloud-Controlled Features (with Gateway):
- Set scenes and schedules for automation.
- Control the bulb remotely via the app.
- Voice Control:
- Use Google Assistant or Siri Shortcuts for hands-free operation.
Troubleshooting
- Bulb Not Responding:
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device.
- Make sure the bulb is within Bluetooth range.
- Confirm that your mobile device is connected to the internet during troubleshooting.
- Check that the YETPlus Smart App is updated to the latest version.
- Reset the Bulb: Turn the bulb off and then on again five times, ensuring the bulb is fully turned off before turning it back on each time. After completing this action, the bulb will flash three times to confirm it is in pairing mode. You can now start to search and add the bulb in the app.
- Connection Issues:
- Verify that your mobile device is connected to the internet during setup or troubleshooting.
- If using the YETPlus Smart Gateway, ensure it is properly set up and linked to the app.

- Avoid using the bulb in fully enclosed fixtures without proper ventilation.
- Do not expose the bulb to water or moisture.
